Kamauoha Farms is a community development project of the Kamauoha Foundation, a non-profit Native Hawaiian organization. The project was started in August 2004 with a federal grant from the Administration for Native Americans (ANA).

The goal of the project is to provide jobs and business opportunities to disadvantaged Hawaiian families. Highlights include a 90-acre farm and food processing plant located on the North Shore of Oahu. The company goal is help Hawaiians grow, process, and sell traditional Hawaiian foods, natural health products and native crafts. The Kamauoha Farms Project also offers “free” training workshops to encourage Hawaiians to start their own farms and businesses. To date, the project has hired over 15 Hawaiians and trained more than 100 individuals in its “free” training workshops.

In December 2004, the company developed the “Community Noni Harvest Program” to help existing and new Noni fruit farmers get their products to market. The program currently assists over 50 Noni farmers on Oahu and Big Island of Hawaii, the largest source of all natural 100% pure Hawaiian Noni Juice in the State of Hawaii. In September 2005 the company released its own brand of Noni products called North Shore Noni, now available on this website.

In April 2006 the project will begin offering Food Dehydration Services; creating a new line of Hawaiian tropical dried fruits, herbs and vegetables that will be available soon through this website. The Kamauoha Farms website will also serve as a conduit for other Native Hawaiians businesses to market a variety of “Made in Hawaii” foods and arts and crafts.
